I never posted the photos of a fun hiking trip the girls and I took to Indian Canyons in Palm Springs with my mom and assorted kids back in March.
It was a lot of fun, even though I forgot the backpack carrier for Q and had to improvise:
This area is a favorite of my family for hiking, because there is plenty of water in the springtime and the weather is perfect almost year round.
The younger kids had a ball playing in the water, while the older ones took off on a tougher hike up the hill. Mom and I moseyed along up the canyon, going far enough to call it a hike but then relaxing with the kids by the water for half the afternoon.
