Or he would if he ever flipped his lid. I think I can count on oh, one finger, the times Eric has ever been visibly enraged in the past 4 years. I definitely get the award for volatility in our family. Eric, he wins for easygoing.

Back to my statement. Eric is gonna wonder why the heck I am posting on the blog when a) I don’t have any photos uploaded, b) I have a rather strict Sunday rule about working on the computer unless absolutely necessary, and c) there is a humongous pile of clean laundry on our bed waiting to be folded. Oh, and I forgot – he also just did the ginormous stack of dishes and is now playing with the girls in their room. So I’m basically the lazy mommy right now, which is a terrible position in which to be, since I was lazy earlier in the day too.

I just gave myself a guilt trip.

And here I was, simply posting a quick note to let you all know that I will hopefully have a round of postings tomorrow or the next day with all kinds of great photos of our Christmases, Katie’s wedding, and general holiday hubbub.

I won’t be lazy tomorrow, I promise.

After all, my husband is going back to work tomorrow at the conclusion of his lovely 12 day winter vacation, and I will actually have to do things for myself. Like wash dishes and take care of our kids.
