A Slight Improvement
The past few weeks I have been at my desk (next to the printers, but thats a different story for a different evening) working on giving the S.A.Robotics website a new look. Since our company is focused on custom products, we haven’t put much effort into branding our image, especially on the web. Rumor has it that the old website was built by a speech-writer, not that I have anything against speech-writers, but there was a definite room for improvement.
A few things that were needing to be fixed…
- The company logo could not be found on a single page throughout the entire site.
- The navigation bars were not consistent on different pages. I got lost in the old site many times, and I work there!
- The images and text had a hard time lining up, and the layout was anything but consistent.

What the website used to look like. Notice the lack of a logo.
So going off that, I tackled the website and tried to give it a more professional look. I would not say that it is my best work, but that could be due to the tedious time I spent creating and editing over 80 pages of content.

And the finished redesign.
You can see the site here. If you are interested, take a look and let me know what you think. I’ll be interested to get your input so I can apply it to the next website I am doing. Hopefully the next one won’t take nearly as long.
